The boys in my house are big robot fans and with that in mind I designed this Robotic cross stitch pattern. It would look great stitched down the arm of a hoodie or made into a patch for a bag,

If your a regular reader of my blog, you will know that I also sell fabric designs on the site Spoonflower. This is an amazing online fabric selling site, where you can buy interesting and varied designs for fabric or if you want custom make your own fabric designs and have them printed. When you upload your designs, if you want to sell them, you have to order a swatch of the fabric to make sure you approve of the print. So, I had a whole pile of swatches and many of my designs are child oriented. The perfect solution to this was to finally finish covering the last cushion on the playroom sofa. I've combined nine of my favorite designs onto the front cover of the cushion, mixing a range of child themed prints.

Just a quick one from me today, thought I would quickly share this card with you. It is one of the easiest cards ever to be made, but it is so lovely I thought you would like to see it.
All it is , is a pre-printed card with window pre-cut. I have added a baking piece to the window and rub this beautiful rub-on design of a Victorian girl in the window. I think both work really well together and I am sure anyone would be happy to receive this card.

If you are a regular visitor to my blog, you will know I have a love affair with butterflies. So I couldn't resist making a card with them included. It's a really simple design, but if you stick to one colour scheme if looks really effective.

If your like me and your already a keen crafter, then I know you probably also share my love of buttons. With that in mind I created this new pattern of buttons for you. They would look great all stitched up as hoop art, or use a few and label up your button jar. Perhaps even change the colors and use a matching colored button design for each of your button jars? Or maybe that's just me, who sorts their buttons into color coded jars! They could even be used on card making, stitched individually and used as toppers. So many ideas from one great pattern. Just click on the read more link to download the PDF file. Enjoy!

Great for any DIY enthusiast or woodworker. It would look great stitched up and framed but could also be used to personalize a tool belt or apron. Any feedback much appreciated. Please don't forget to stop by the store and check out my other range of great patterns.

I have a new sewing passion which is Blackwork, I love how patterns can fill simple silhouettes with such interest. I love the combination of simple geometric shapes and a simple color pallet. To share my love with you, I have created this Blackwork pattern for a Spoon. I think it would look great stitch up up on Kitchen linens, or framed in a cafe or for home deco. Whatever you want to sew it on to I'm sure it will look amazing. Link on the read more link to download the free pattern.

|Christening gift, cross stitch 'G'|
Recently I have been busy designing and sewing new stock for my Etsy shop. I have posted a couple of my Button Alphabet patterns on the blog before and just thought I'd share one that I stitched for my youngest's bedroom the other day. These patterns make great Christening or baptism gifts, or if your quick enough you could stitch one up for a new baby, once you's heard the name.

They are great patterns for newbies as they use only full count stitches and a limited color pallet. Don't worry if your not a fan of the traditional blue or pink as they could easily be adapted to suit any color scheme. They'd look great stitched up in a rainbow scheme, wouldn't they?

|Gluten Free Chocolate fudge cake recipe|
When I was diagnosed a Coeliac, one of my first thoughts was 'Oh No. No Cake!', but in reality that really isn't the case. You just need to find some winning recipes that work for you. This is definitely a winner for me as it rises well, has great texture but also uses only Cocoa powder for the great chocolate taste and so it becomes a great store cupboard cake as well.
